Hiding in shades

It was very difficult to spot a leopard in wild..Anyhow i spot this one from little far and was sitting in shade ...In Mutumalai safari..
Canon 7D mII with tamron 150-600mm lens..

It is quite rare to see a leopard resting on the ground. It is so nicely camouflaged in the surroundings. I liked the vertical composition showing the habitat in the background. I feel a narrower aperture would have been good to get more details. That would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see a leopard in the wild. Not sure if the leopard is in focus. The leopard has chosen shade to rest. It would have been good if a ray of light would have illuminated its head. Thanks for sharing.

The leopard looks relaxed and resting in shade. The grass is quite high as it seems to be covering the entire body of leopard, if the leopard was lying down one can completely miss it as the grass would cover it well. The dense background adds to the image, thanks for sharing.
