Neelakurinji 2018!

Finally we made it to Munnar to witness the "Neelakurinji" flower which blooms only once in 12 years.The season is coming to a close so we couldn't see the full spectacle.

Lovely. As you have said, lot of flowers seem to have dried. This year we also could photograph the blossoms in Oct :). Was it raining there? Thanks for sharing.

On what date did you click this? One can find a lot of the flowers have already withered. The seeds would be stored in the ground for the next 12 years if the area doesn't get destroyed by man. Thanks for sharing.
