Thanks Deepak. No, I did not use flash. I never liked the idea of using flash for wildlife photography.

Cool shot. Birds look good when shot with frontal light as the colours come out well. Seems you were shooting in low light. Where in Kerala? Were you shooting handheld or tripod?

Beautiful picture of the bird, Dr.Katre. The colors have come out very well and it looks like it posed for you :). A request if you can move your copyright mark slightly away from the subject as the eye invariably moves towards it when trying to read the details on the bird. Thanks for sharing.
