One morning I saw pups playing outside the den and there was a dead harrier lying just besides the den. Probably mother has had left it for pups the previous night.
By now pups were used to of my presence and was very much comfortable of me being there.
BUT this morning , the moment I reached there the bold pup immediately decided to drag the kill inside the den(as If I wanted to share :) the kill with him ) and came out and continue to play with his sibling.
If you see the harrier image , he/she must have not been killed by mother but probably found already dead(I didn't found any blood stains in any of my image on harrier body).

Great to see this. In the wild a predator can easily become prey. We can only make conjectures as to how this kill happened. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

It's a very sad moment that bird gets killed. #Save Birds.

Another wonderful image in your series on the fox pups . Can only let our imagination run wild as to how the fox mother managed this kill or as you say, found it by lucky chance .Thanks for sharing .

Interesting behaviour of the pup photographed Vipinji. It probably sensed that its food might get stolen, and so made sure to hide it first :). It sure would have been exciting to watch them from so close. Thanks for sharing.
