Greater Rann of Kutch

Photographed this at Greater Rann of Kutch a few years back. In the afternoon, we were waiting in the watch tower near a water hole. There was a big herd of camels who had come to drink and rest.

The wind is blowing fast. The camels are going for drinking water.

The depth of field is good. The vegetation creates a feeling of depth as well and leads the eye in. The desert ecosytem of Rann is tough place. Day time is hot even in winter. Early mornings or late evenings and night is best for watching wildlife.
