ID: tiny mite on a moth's wing
Came across a beautiful and massive moth well camouflaged along a stone, blending so well that even though we were right next to it we didnt notice it, only until we accidentally spotted the beauty. But the surprising bit was this tiny speck of the beauty that seemed to be traversing the beautiful landscape of the moth's wing, again an accidental find. What actually was supposed to be a close up shot of the wing's pattern, there was something, very tiny, that seemed to walk across the frame, its only after a closer look at the beauty was that I realized it was a mite that was trying to find the main body of the moth, probably to relish on the unsuspecting behemoth.

Nice find. The shutter speed was a bit low for sharp shot. Else it would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting. Very minute observations required to notice this. The slow shutter speed gives a different feel to the wing and the mite. It seems as if we are looking at an x-ray or something :). Thanks for sharing.
