There were many peaks we saw during our Himalayan sojourn, but one of the clearest sightings was of Nanda Devi, India's 2nd highest peak only after Kanchenjunga. We were staying at Joshimath and spent a day at Auli around 20kms further. The weather was clear and while we saw other peaks like Dhaulagiri and Bandarpoonch, they weren't as picturesque as the Nanda devi giving us a clear view in between valleys. And to think the Himalayas are still growing and are one of the youngest mountains of the world, its just going to get grander.

Breathtaking beauty. You were lucky to get such a clear view of the peak. Loved the composition. Look for more from the Himalayas. Thanks for sharing.

These snow clad peaks create good vibes. I can just stare at them for hours without feeling tired. The early morning view before sunrise is always magical and one should always try to view it. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
