The sun had gone and it was the juncture of dusk and evening. Suddenly, I discovered it clutching the leaf. Just behind, under another leaf there was a lynx spider too. I just tried to represent the serenity at the fag end of the day through the grasshopper resting in calmness on a grass.
Most probably it was 'blue hour'. In the original image the grasshopper is almost dark. In pp I recover the shadow area to bring minimum details of the subject.

I liked this different perspective. The vertical composition with the tall grass blades looks nice. It is kind of insectspace :). Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your complements Mridul Ji. Like that word 'insectscape' too much:001_smile: I would be really happy if I not had to develop the shadow area.

I would have liked to move a bit to the left and shoot it. That would have ensured a slightly more side on pose of the grasshopper and more importantly a bit more separation between the grasshopper and the grass behind it. Thanks for sharing.
