The bright late morning light was in my face and the bird was hardly visible in the shimmer but as I had seen it cross the road and fly into the bush I was generally aware of its location. However it hopped away merrily moving in and out proving to be a most difficult target .Nikon 850+200-500 ,1/500s ,ISO 1400 ,F/7.1 .Tadoba ,Nov2019 .

Loved the perch and the pose. The distinctive curved red beak tipped in yellow looks good. The tiny white flowers frame the bird nicely. Wish there was some light on the bird, that would have enhanced the composition further. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

The eye contact is fine. Wish there was some catchlight on the eyes as that would have enhanced the image many times. The beak looks nice. I find this bird to be a bit skittish. So one needs to be very alert. Thanks for sharing.
