The Mighty Matkasur Head On

This was Head on shot of the Male Tiger T54, I was thinking of taking head on shot but background all some 30 gypsy,
even though our gypsy and other gypsy leaving so much of distance from the tiger walking towards us, the gypsys behind were so closely following we are not able to take pics.
some how at some point managed to squeeze few frames.

Nice pic of a famous Tiger!Tadoba is overflowing with visitors eventhough there are restrictions on the no of vehicles allowed per gate.I wanted to see Matkasur but the Moharali gate tickets were full!

Quite a tight frame (not much you could do about it). Its good that you could just manage to include the front paw. We had faced a similar situation in Ranathambore, when the tigress T17 followed our gypsy and all the other gypsy's came behind her. Its an exhilarating feeling to have a tiger follow you :). Tough to get this image as the tiger seems way too close for your lens. The focus is locked on the leg, so the head is soft. In such close situations if there is not time to change lens, then better to shoot portraits. Thanks for sharing.
