The Chousingha(Tetracerus quadricornis) is small antelope found in India. It has four horns.Thre is no English term for this animal. In an earlier post Saktiji and Sabyaji had mentioned about the heights to which this animal can leap, quoting R Krishnan. This particular animal has no horns because it is a female! From Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve.

Nice composition, with the display of the habitat. The raised ears shows its alert behavior. The beautiful eyes of the doe with the catchlight, nicely captured. Was the gypsy engine running? You could have tried using a higher ISO and narrower aperture to get more details. Thanks for sharing.
