Gaur fmily at Tadoba!

We saw many a Gaurs during our morning and evening safaris at Taodba, Zhari-Kolsa Zone.It looked as if this Zone has many no of Gaurs present.We did not see Gaurs in other Zones.

Canon 80D,Canon 100-400 IS II USM,f4.5,1/80,ISO 1600 at 100mm.

Nice to see the full herd relaxing near the water hole. I felt you could have zoomed just a bit more to try to exclude the gaurs (legs) at the top of the frame. That would have helped to get more focus on the gaurs near the water. I liked the reflection in the water. Tried to crop from the top to check how the composition would look. Thanks for sharing.

The repost brings focus to the gaurs in the waterhole. Our mind always looks to complete a loop. It is called closure effect. So if you show only legs immediately we look for the entire body of the animal. So it takes away attention from the other gaurs.

This is another frame where there was room for cropping the top portion to avoid the legs of Gaurs standing at a distance.
