A Tiger and its Abode!....Tadoba

A typical Tiger's abode can be tropical rain forests,Mangrove swamps,evergreen forests or grasslands.Tadoba mainly consists of southern tropical dry deciduous forest with dense woodland.Here a part of the habitat is seen.

The habitat with its major holder have been showcased nicely.
Tadoba-Andhari's evolution as a famous tiger reserve since my visit in May 2005 is phenomenal. Large prey species like Gaur and Sambar might have contributed to certain extent.

Some villages were relocated from the reserve and that became nice grasslands. The forest department ofcourse took care to plant grasses and regenerate the area.

This image needs more depth of field. A narrow aperture would have helped it shine more. Thanks for sharing.
