Grey-fronted Green Pigeon

A female grey-fronted green pigeon I photographed from my balcony - one of a flock of about 30. This species was split from what was previously known as the Pompadour green pigeon.

Agree with Mrudul. The eye is super. Looks like there were some vegetation inbetween. Overall looks nice. Which part of Goa are you in? Thanks for sharing.

Yes Sabyasachi, there was quite a lot of intervening vegetation, and I was fortunate to get this individual through a clearing. Most of the other individuals were at very close range from me but completely behind vegetation.
