Gaurs in attention!.......Tadoba!

We were in search of Tigers at Tadoba and reached a waterhole.Instead of Tigers we saw these 2 Gaurs peacefully grazing.We visited the same waterhole after 2 hours and instead of again Tigers we saw the same 2 Gaurs!

Nice looking gaur. The build quality of gaurs in tadoba is good. The focus appears to be a bit ahead. How much of a crop is this? Thanks for sharing.

Nice image. Innocent look. When I visited Tadoba in May 2005, Gaurs were very shy.
Gaur is preyed upon by tiger regularly in Tadoba wbich is a contributory factor for increase in number of tiger.
