Broken Beak

Parakeet closeup at some place in Mathura during my field visit. Canon 7D II, 120-300 @ 300 mm, F3.5, 1/500, ISO 100.

Do not know how his beak is damaged, likely during a fight. I believe, Normally parakeets do not fight with each other.

The beak has cracked up. I have no idea if the beak can crack during a fight. Could have been abused in captivity as well and then later released. Thanks for sharing.
