Shot this in Bandipur, i guess Sabyasachi too was in Bandipur on this day 30th Aug'09. This was shot just before we sighted the Elephant digging action at the salt pit.

Good Job with the B/W conversion. The light was a bit harsh was it? The composition looks good to me. ISO 800 has thrown in some noise in the Background. The light come to think of it now looks good albeit a bit harsh... The open mouth suggests good action... Good job there Praveen :D

Agree with Bibhav about the nosie and the harsh light. The whites have lost details. You can try to reduce the highlights. The open mouth adds to the photoghaph. Is it a crop?

I had seen this one. However I haven't got a satisfactory image. I think light was low as it was in the morning.

I like the black and white rendition. The neck portion attracts attention. I may tone it down a little bit. The open mouth is a big plus. Cropping from the bottom till your name would be fine. And by the way, I don't mind noise in black and white. In most of the cases the noise adds to the feel of the image.
