Nice you got it looking directly towards you. The cream/golden coloured coat looks nice. It can be difficult to expose its black face as the background (sky) is usually very bright. Nicely captured. Was it single or in a group? Thanks for sharing.

I always feel that North-east is good for wildlife watching, not for photography. Although I have tried a lot to photograph wildlife. The langurs were in a group of 7 to 10. They are very very shy. This male was a bit curious. After waiting for two hours this male suddenly climbed through tiny branch of a tree from bamboo thickets.
Do visit Manas Sabyasachi da. This year visitors are not frequent in Manas due to CAA related issue. But situation is well. I am going to visit on 18th feb. Hope I can stay for 4 nights. Good luck for Tiger and Dhole.

Nice image. Expression nicely captured. In April 1979 I could see Golden Langurs on Bhutan side of Manas river. The size of lone tuskers, all three, still remain live in my memory. Wild buffaloes, truly looked wild and the hundreds of white bones and skeletons inside grassland along the rivers testifyed to battles fought with tigers. When animals will shed fear, like Sundarbans, we shall come to know many unexplored things in Manas. I am waiting for Samrat to present the black panther to Indiawilds!
