Such a colourful bird. The take-off pose with the water splash looks great. A further higher ISO and a faster shutter speed would have helped to get more details in the take-off pose. Is it a feather(?) in its beak? Thanks for sharing.

It is not easy to get the perfect focus. The pose is nice. The focus on the head at f5.6 would have been great. With the present position of AF point, f8 would have been a bit better here. But f8 means reducing the shutter speed. So I would have increased the ISO by a stop and kept 1/2500 shutter speed. Thanks for sharing.
