On this WorldWildlifeDay, sharing this beauty. We saw this amazing predator in Sundarbans in late afternoon light. It gave us ample time to click. I am a fan of its eyes.

This was an amazing sighting. Great details and a nice eye contact. In this pose, one can see the back, the pointed wings and the long, narrow tail with a black tip and a white band at the very end. Thanks for sharing.

HAPPY WILDLIFE DAY 3 March 2020

'Terror from the skies'
- as M.Krishnan used to call Peregrine Falcon, an Honour rightly due to this raptor. He assessed its stooping speed at over 200 miles per hour. Awesome talon and claws.
Superb image. Great details.
Thanks for sharing. Saktiwild

woow. . . . This is a wonderful photo. Its legs are so strong. And the pointed nails seem capable of ripping the prey in a few moments.
