ID: Brown headed gull

One of the seasonal visitors of the Mumbai, these beauties can be seen all around the bridges of Mumbai and neighboring suburbs. These scavengers can feed on anything and everything, usually natural, but the close proximity to human and urban jungle, during their migratory life, these have been seen feeding on the discarded food and mostly on the oily fafda that are generally fed by some people based on their belief system. Here is one of the birds resting on the railing of the bridge, not sure if just taking some off time or waiting for the free food that is wrongly fed to them.

EXIF:
Canon 80D
Canon 55-250 IS
F/7.1
Shutterspeed 1/640
ISO 100
Rested on the railing, no flash fired

Location: Versova bridge, Outskirts of Mumbai

They can get very close to people, have seen in Scotland. Now here also they have got used to the people and the feeding. The low angle looks good. Liked the composition, showing it with the (out of focus) traffic on the right. Thanks for sharing.

Agree with Mrudul's comments. I would love a bit more depth of field to cover more of the gull. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
