Tight head shot. Did you compose it this way or is it cropped? The image is underexposed. The blacks have lost details. Without the negative exposure compensation, the image would have been better. When you check the histogram of the image you will find that the histogram is bunched to the left. In the boxes close to the left side of the histogram the image will contain less data. So it is better to expose to the right.
