It is often treated as vermin because of its destructive fruit consumption .Its seed propagation and pollination role is greatly underrated . Nice pic of a pair of Bats!....there are a lot of them here in my town.But they dont seem to transmit any virus.During the Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala a few years ago it was found to be transmitted by a certain type of bats which are found only in forest areas.

This one has come out well. The details are fine. This virus scare is leading to lot of people cutting and clearing trees and bushes. It is important to ensure that our diet and lifestyle is healthy so that our immunity is up. When we have a leaking boat water will enter.
