Hello Friends,

This is second image from Amboli trip last year of Beddome's Cat Snake in its habitat..

Boiga beddomei, commonly known as Beddome's Cat Snake, is a species of rear-fanged snake in the family Colubridae.

Its a non-venomous snake & endemic o the Western Ghats of India.

Nice one. The wider shot shows the overall snake and habitat well. The lower portion has got less light. So the attention goes a bit more to the top portion. Viewers watching this photo should realise that this is in the night and shot in the wild and hence lighting is difficult.

Great sighting. Loved the way it has hinged itself on the branch. The vertical composition works well to show it fully, its quite long. Good eye contact. Nice capture. Look forward to more. Thanks for sharing.
