Today - International Tiger Day....due to large scale awareness and conservation strategies the numbers are increasing in India, i.e 1411 (2006) to 2967 (2018)
For a better future the pace of tiger conservation practices should not be hampered by any anthropogenic activities.

Nice to see a tiger photo from Ranthambhore. The monsoon lends a green colour to the landscape and one can often create colourful images. The head portion is not very sharp. Was there any movement when you clicked. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Nice to see some greenery in Ranathambore, usually the landscape is more brown. Looks like a young male in his prime. Nice pose, good you got the face in clear. How were the sightings there? Thanks for sharing.

Nice pose of the male. Height looks good, may be because it is young and stomach is empty. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Nice pic of a Tiger....India is doing reasonably well in Tiger conservation. This Tiger's attention seems to be somewhere else!
