Id: Pumpkin beetle

A frame of the beauty that was least bothered with the intrusion and rather decided to continue feasting on the wild flower that was blooming along the pathway. With loads of bloom of these flowers could spot huge amount of these beetles all along the pathway. It was interesting to note that this particular one was missing one of the antenna and had pollen all over its body.

It seems it had been jumping from one flower to other, so it picked up the pollens along the way :). Don't know how much having one less antennae can be affecting it? Good details in the eye. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.

This image is tough to pull off because the depth of field is not going to be enough. You were already at 1/125 shutter speed, so narrowing down the aperture to f11/f16 looks very tough. Did you shoot at lower ISO to reduce noise in crop? Thanks for sharing.
