We came upon a pack of four dholes which seemed to have brought down a spotted deer . When we reached the spot three of them were sitting apart engorged with meat, while one still was tearing and and chewing at the carcass .There was just the hide left .Nikon D 850+200-500 ,1/500s ,ISO 1400 ,F/8 .Nagarhole , August 2020 .

A scene showing the predator and the prey. As Saktida has said, there is no remorse in the wild. Has Nagarhole national park opened now? Thanks for sharing.

Nice action captured. The dholes pull apart pieces from the body and the prey animal succumbs. If the wild dogs don't kill then they will starve and die along with their offspring. Death gives life. It is a cycle of life and law of nature so we shouldn't feel bad watching a predator eating prey. For how long were you there? We were scared to venture out when you were in the jungle. Nice. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
