The standard 3:2 aspect ratio simply didn't work for this image. So trying this 4:5 ratio. Do let me know what you think of it.

It seems to be inquisitive. Did you pull his hair? :D
Why f4? I wish the branch or plant were not there in the background just behind its head. I would like to see the original capture.

Hehe! I dare not do that with a sloth bear!:p
I used f/4 because I was shooting this handheld, the bear was walking in pretty fast and light was also low as it was a cloudy (and later rainy) August day. I could've boosted the ISO but felt a little greedy and had portraits in mind :)
I hate that branch in the background, spoils the bokeh completely... but then one can't do much about that.
Will post a copy of the original compo.

Nice composition. Liked the inquisitive look on its face. Nice details on the face. Agree about the overhead branch.
