I was lying down on my belly and these Khalij pheasants (Lophura leucomelanos )were climbing up the incline. There were some twigs. When they were close, this one noticed and gave me a look. Corbett Tiger Reserve, Malani zone. From my archives.

Wow loved the low angle, gives a very different perspective. It seems to wonder what is this :). Lovely details. The pattern created by its feathers on the chest looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely details of the feather patterns . The red eye rings though only partially visible is very striking and distinctive feature of this bird . The low angle seems to have been achieved with considerable difficulty :001_rolleyes:.Thanks for sharing .
