Tiger in Sunlight and shadows

When this dominant male tiger B2 in Bandhavgarh came on the road late in the morning, I just got a couple of shots. I liked the shadows, so converted to black and white. Will share the colour version later.

This is from my archives and was shot with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS II USM lens with 2XII TC. ISO 400, 400mm, f7.1, 1/800 sec, full frame image.

He is so majestic. Its great that you got him while walking towards you. The shadows makes it very dramatic. That's why some of the old b/w movies look so amazing. Lovely details. Thanks for sharing.

Nic black & white pic of a majestic Tiger!...He looks like Matkasur of Tadoba!....I always wanted to visit Bandavgarh...I hope the time will come soon for me to make a visit!
