Another picture framed today at Anaikatti

This little bird was perched on the roadside and our Civic was a perfect hide for it hardly noticed any of us inside the car. In fact, at one point, it actually sat on our hood for a few minutes . . . .

400D, Canon 70-300 IS, F5.6, 1/100, ISO 400, Focal length 290 MM. Full Frame.

Look forward to your vaulable advices

Vaishnavi,
I agree with the composition. However, a little bit of space at the top and bottom would have been better. There is a tree/creeper on the right that draws a bit of attention. The open beak is a plus. I like the cobwebs. Does this bird has coarse feathers? Overall nice.

Cheers,

Nice sharp image. You should always try to get the focus on the eye rather than on the body. That gives more impact to the image...
You are picking up really fast.. Good Job...

Lovely bird, nicely photographed. Nice perch. Agree with the comments, some more space on top and left. Did you upload a image more than 200kb, the s/w might have resized it, so there is some noise.

Keep posting..

HI, welcome to Indiawilds,
Nice image. Sharp at 1/100. Agree with Bibhav's point abt focussing on the eye. Also would have been better with more space all around.
Look forward to more...
