Gavi is a wonderful place within the Periyar Tiger Reserve and known for the sighting chances of Elephants and other wild animals.One has to take a different route from the way to Thekkady.Entry is restricted by giving passes by the forest department....this Elephant was standing by the road side enjoying the green grass!
