Nikon P510, 1/200, F4.5, ISO 100. Full frame. Basic pp in Adobe Photoshop Express.

Clicked on 13th November, 2016 at Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary.

It was our first trip to Tipeshwar, which turned out to be a memorable trip. We had sighted the star male, a wolf, a leopard, large herds of nilgai, a pair of scoops owl, a pair of brown fish owls etc.

Beautiful environmental composition. A young male in his prime. I think slight less space at the bottom (more on top) would be nice. How long was the sighting? Thanks for sharing.

May be the beautiful Alpha male of present days. Nice image.
There are 2 sub-adult males roaming inside at present and possibly they have to search for territory in Kewal sanctuary or other adjoining jungles.

From my younger days, I have read about Kewal but I understand it was never good for tigers.
NTCA should think about how to provide territory for the sub-adult males.

Tipeswar, a beautiful breeding ground for tigers should survive.
One interesting morphological character is that this is a low to ground healthy male.
Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Nice pic and pose from the Tiger! Tippeswar is less famous compared to the more popular ones.As pointed out by Saktiji this place must flourish with Tigers.

Lovely setting. The road takes a turn so the bushes behind it hide the hint of road behind the tiger. With tall bushes all around and the tree branches on top and in the background, one gets a real wilderness feel from this image. So though the tiger is in slight shadow, I like this image because of the feel of the jungle. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Beautiful image of the Star male .I like the head turn as the tiger mildly curious gauges the threat perception . Thanks for sharing .
