Another one from Anaikatti

Was on a maize field on the Kerala side of the range. Light was quite low

Do let me have your feedback and advices.

We are off to Yercaud for the weekend and hope to get some good pictures there. Any specific birding spots we should visit ? Pls do let me know.

Lovely photograph. Sharp. Liked the perch on the corn. You could have tried for a vertical composition, as well. Have a good tip to Yercaud. Look forward to see more photographs from there.

Vaishnavi,
Sharpness if fine. I would have tried a vertical here to get the others stalks in the frame. Try isolating one stalk and composing a vertical. It would look nice. Including multiple stalks gives an idea about the habitat. Don't hesitate to try wider. You will be surprised that they would present a different and nice perspective.

Good that you are going to Yercaud. It is a nice place but offlate the tourist numbers are swelling. There is a narrow road to a temple. I was told someone saw a gaur, mistook as a buffalo and was trying to go closer. Try to explore in an around that area.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi
