Black-headed Ibis with snake

Photographed in Mangalajodi in Jan 2020. Saw several times when the Ibis successfully caught a snake and it was snatched by other birds especially the heron. In this image also the heron can be seen standing close by and waiting to snatch the kill.

Canon 80D, Canon 100-400 mm L IS USM lens, 1/2000, f8, ISO 2000, hand held, full frame.

The heron tried to snatch it when it flew away in the opposite direction. The Ibis dropped the snake and the heron landed caught it. Earlier I had posted an image of another Ibis snatching the snake here -
