ID: Genus Chrysillia(jumping spider)
One of the most colourful and flamboyant species of jumping spiders(rather the most colourful spiders), these tiny beauties, surprisingly, seem to exist and nurture well in the backyards of urban gardens. These particular ones, spotted in our society’s garden, tend to be really tiny, hardly 4mm long, and like to take refuge in the darkish part of the garden, along with the extra flowerpots that are kept aside. The difference between the subadult or juvenile and the adult is really stark, almost making them look like a completely different species. Capturing or framing the adults are a very difficult task, as they are very swift and hide themselves in the tiniest nook and cranny of the terrain.
