Smelling a Bush!

A Tiger smelling a bush and trying to find out the presence of other Tigers.We could see it scent mark and roam around us for quite some time.It was a very good sighting at Tadoba in 2019.

Nice behaviour photographed. Agree with Sakti da, it seems it was looking for a mate. I feel a vertical composition would have also looked good here. Thanks for sharing.

Since the legs are cut off, I agree that a vertical composition would have been better here. A bit more space would have been better.

Scent marking plays a big role in broadcasting details about the tigers. It helps in finding mate as well as avoiding conflict.
