Praveen,
Good find. I wish others take a leaf out of your friends book and maintain their farms as jungles. :D

I wish I had several thousand acres outside a jungle. I would have maintained it as a jungle. Any one donating? ;)

Your image is sharp. I love their eyes. The image is dark. How big a crop is it? I think your exposure was for the sky. So the owl became underexposed. It needs atleast one stop more light. That means at f5.6 your shutter speed should have been 1/160 instead of 1/320 to allow more light. In this situation it is better to give a positive exposure compensation +1EC and check the histogram.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Piercing eye contact. To photograph a owl is quite difficult with the dense BG and against the sky. Some more space on the top would have enhanced the composition further.

It would be good to visit your friends farm house for some photographing :).

lovely stare. But as sabyasachi has pointed out.. the image is a underexposed. using Positive EC would have helped...
