This Sambar was alone and was seriously looking for something or somebody!....It was half hidded in the grass and little far away.The prey species in Periyar TIger Reserve seems ggod in nos.

Canon 80D,Canon 100-400 IS II USM,f5.6,1/60,ISO 100 at 400mm (Cropped).

It has got nice big antlers. The fresh vegetation all around looks good. Some more space on the right for a rectangular framing would enhance the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

While cropping you can keep the original proportions. I would love to see a wider frame of such a green landscape with prey species. A prey stalking the prey would always be a massive bonus. :)
