Gaur at close quarters........Gavi!

This Gaur was standing alone on top of a hill and was munching on juicy grass.There are plenty of Gaurs in Periyar Tiger Reserve and may be an indication of a good no of predators.But seeing a predator is difficult in Periyar Tiger Reserve.

Well hidden in the tall vegetation. The horns looks nice, makes us wonder about its size, might be a big animal. Thanks for sharing.
