Nikon 850+200-500 ,F/7.1 ,1/400s ,ISO 6400 . very early in the morning at a great distance Oct 2021 .This is a very combative male called Sherwood .

Nice pose. Often the sightings are far off. At least you feel good sighting leopards as they are hard to find in other jungles. Unfortunately, tourism pressure has increased and some of the tour operators don't care about the welfare of the leopards. Thanks for sharing.

Leopards of Jawai are famous.I think unlike in other parts of the world here they live in groups.I wonder from where they get their food!

Lovely environmental composition. I loved his pose and eye contact. The shrubs are green, looks like the rains were good this year. Leopards are well camouflaged with the rocks and can be difficult to spot, but the sightings are good there. Look forward to more. Thanks for sharing.

Sankarji, Leopards mostly kill the cattle in the surrounding villages. There was an effort of introducing deers in the area (a few years back)by the forest department, as there was no prey base. I am not aware if that effort succeeded.
