ID: Signature spider

Spiders have a unique characteristic, especially the difference in gender parity that exists. Here is one example where a male signature spider seemed to sneak into the web set up by the massive female, seen on the background. This shows how small the male is, almost making it look like a baby spider. Usually known to risk its life after the mating session, these usually tend to be consumed by the female, atleast in few species of spiders, correct me if wrong, putting a high risk on the male spiders, probably the puny size could be one of the reason for it to fall prey to the female.

The size difference is huge. I am not sure if in this species the females devour the males. The web is focused and has come out well. The female in the background adds to the story. Thanks for sharing.

The female looks huge compared to the male. Good details on the web. Some drop droplets also can be seen on the web. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.
