From bharatpur. I tried but couldn't get the entire head in the clear. If I would have lowered myself on my belly then it would have been possible. However, any small movement means these fellows would have flown off.

It is good you got the eye in clear :). I liked the details. They are very shy and a slight movement and it will vanish into the bushes. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.

nice pic of a Francolin...I think they make alarm calls when a predator is around!...We saw a few of them during our visit to Sariska.
