A Gaur munching at Kabini!

We could see several Gaurs at Kabini during our recent visit.This one was very cool with itself!

Sprightly looking Gaur .You seem to have surprised her . The lantana bushes provide a beautiful green frame for the youthful gaur .Thanks for sharing .

Many people take Gaurs for granted as one can often sight them in the forests in south as well as in Tadoba and in a few other places. They are the worlds largest cattle. One can often get lot of pleasure watching these huge bovines. Surrounded by greenery the frame looks good. Wish the forest department can somehow gather will power to remove the exotic lantana weed. Thanks for sharing.
