A rare pic of a Hoopoe perched on a tree with a Myna for company at Kabini!The Hoopoes are normally seen on the ground and this experience was unique!

Hoopoes are seen in the ground while feeding. They fly well and perch on the trees. We don't now whether these two birds perched on two opposing branches are talking or displaying uncivil behaviour of not acknowledging others like some people do in lifts. If there was some light on their eyes, then it would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.
