A Cruious Gaur Calf!

This baby Gaur at Kabini was looking inquisitively at the safari vehicle while the adults were not that bothered about our presence.We saw similar baby Gaurs but their colours were like adults!

The baby Gaurs have this colour. Later they become dark. This small calf will one day become a giant, even bigger than cape buffalos.
