Golden Jackal......Jim Corbett!

We saw a pack of Golden Jackals as we were waiting for the Tiger to emerge from the grasslands.The Jackals were constantly moving and disappeared.

Both seem to be in good health, a sign there is enough prey base in the jungle. Nice light. Thanks for sharing.

Corbett is a big place. Sightings of jackals are generally higher in the grasslands of Corbett as well as in and around the rest houses. They go about their business searching for smaller prey as well as for scavenging. I would like to see this in a wider composition. Thanks for sharing.
