ID: Wood roach

One of the most common, and not so pleasant, sightings along Phansad were these tiny pests that roamed or slithered all around, be it the rooms or the trails. While we were traversing the trail in the night, these would pop out of each and every corner of the trail, be it along the tree branches, or in this case some tiny flower blooms. What surprised me the most was the fact that these werent shy of the light, and rather would fly towards the headlight tormenting us while we tried our best to frame the subject

Interesting. I am sure many people will squirm at the sight of this creature. I may not be glad to click it. :-) Nevertheless they have their ecological role. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Anyone can mistake it for a cockroach (same family I think) and as Sabyasachi has said will not be keen to photograph it :). Good details on the body. Nice frame. Thanks for sharing.
