Got this shot in a small resort in Kerela with my 135mm :D
This is a crop (arnd 20-30%)
I was wearing fatigues and was hiding so this fellow came pretty close... One can see a hint of its tongue at the tip.
Very cute and skittish bird. A first catch for me...

Good effort with a 135mm. Lot of people don't get this even with long teles. It gives a nice feel of the habitat.
I think 300mm here would have been good. The shutter speed was less, else would have suggested using a narrow aperture like f8 to get more depth of field.
There is one out of focus dark leaf/stem that kind of dissects this image. Would have been great without that.
Cheers,

Lovely image. Liked the perch and the light green leaves offer a nice feel of its habitat. You can try cropping a bit from the bottom to get less of the OOF leaf in the foreground.
