Nice flight pose. The habitat of the owl has come out well. The underside of the wing has come out well. The Nikon 500mm f5.6 PF seems to be nice handy lens. Never handled one as I am use Canon. Personally I would prefer a bit more depth of field so would use f8. How much of a crop is this? Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

Hey, thank you for having me in the forum. It is about a 20-25% crop. I shoot in manual mode with auto ISO, so I mostly shoot at the widest aperture.

The 500 pf lens is lightweight and a good choice for handheld abrupt action photography. It is sharp at close distances but softer at a distance of more than 100 feet, unlike a prime lens.
